KNYSNA NEWS - Michael Canfield and Tigger Reunert team up for a night of blues, folk, funk and fun at Knysna’s Red Bridge Brewery on Thursday 21 March at 19:00.
The collaboration between these seasoned musicians is bound to be a shtonking affair with Canfield returning to Knysna and bringing his unique, multi-instrumental, New York-via-Tulbagh rockabilly, high-energy talents as a foil to Reunert’s more laid-back style.
Audiences can expect to hear a set of familiar tunes given a new twist.
USA-born Canfield has played with some of the biggest names in rock and roll, from Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley through to Paul Simon, Billy Idol and Bob Dylan. In South Africa he’s worked with everyone from Johnny Clegg to The Black Cat Bones.
