Business was booming for most Knysna shopkeepers this festive season. Some even say it was their best year yet. But for street vendors, it has been a great disappointment. SuperSpar manager Leon Terblanche said on Friday, January 8 that the past three weeks proved to be very successful. “Business was excellent. This has been our best year ever,” he said. This was echoed by Andries Meyer, manager of Kloppers. “Compared to last year, this year’s holiday season brought much more shoppers to our town. We really cannot complain,” a visibly delighted Meyer said. See what other's had to say.
