KNYSNA RUGBY NEWS - Titans Women's Rugby Club defeated Albertina Tigers on a wet and very cold Loerie Park in a SWD EaGirls Women's Rugby League fixture with 50-0.
In the opening stages of the game the much more experienced Titans team struggled against the visitors. This fixture also saw the return of Titans regular captain Marlene Adams after almost three months recovering from an injury.
Titans' first try came from good interplay between Adams and game captain Prelene Pegram, with the latter snatching up the ball at the breakdown and driving over to score after being nicely set up with a powerful run by Adams.
In heavily rainy conditions, Titans fly half Siphenathi Yeko displayed great handling skills in the wet.
