The day turned out to be a memorable occasion for these youngsters as they got to interact and play tag rugby with some of their rugby heroes from the DHL Western Province (WP) team. The DHL WP players decided to not only spend time with the children, but to also run a drill with them, encouraging the learners to run straight into gaps with both hands on the ball.
To end off an action-packed day, Bokkie, the mascot, interacted with many fans. Bokkie had the honour of leading both the Simola Eagles XV and DHL WP teams onto the field before the Oyster Trophy match kicked off.
