KNYSNA NEWS - Greater Knysna Rugby Club and Jaguars from Crags played to a 12-all draw in their SWD club rugby warm-up encounter in Hornlee, Knysna on Saturday 17 February.
In an error-filled encounter both teams at times showed marvellous skills but unforced errors kept breaking the rhythm of the game.

The visitors were first to open the scoring after a good scrum, with the scrum half scoring from a sniping break around the scrum and a great dummy on the left wing dotting the ball down in the corner and giving them a 7-0 lead.
Greater Knysna replied soon thereafter with blind-side flank Zolani Bavuma crashing through the Jaguars' defence after sustained pressure on attack. Ludwe Vara converted the try to get the teams on equal footing again.
At half time the score remained on 7 each.
The second half saw more great rugby at times, but with just too many unforced and unnecessary mistakes from both teams.
Cebisa Sidzuma, Zolani Bavuma and Lethuxolo Bokwe were among the outstanding forwards who created quality opportunities for the backs, while backline players Don Marco Samuels and Cullen Cole impressed with skill and strength.
This gave new signing Ludwe Jack the opportunity to score in his debut match and gave Greater Knysna a 12-7 lead with five minutes left on the clock.
The visitors did not just roll over and play dead, however.
The Jaguars were able to force a turnover from the restart and scored in the corner after a well-placed grubber through Greater Knysna's defence.
The kick was left unconverted, bringing the game to a close with the score on 12 each.
* Second team result: Greater Knysna RC 36-5 Jaguars.
