KNYSNA NEWS - Titans Pool Academy enjoyed another unbeaten run this past weekend with all four teams recording victories in the George Blackball Super League and President's League.
In the George Blackball Super League, Titans 1, the Kill Squad, beat Icon Masters 18-7 in a bonus-point victory, securing their place in the top four for round 3.
In the President's League, Titans 4, the Ghost Squad, defeated Shwing Snipers 25-0, recording the academy's first-ever clean-sweep bonus-point victory. Emihle Jantjies was named player of the match.
Titans 2, the Bomb Squad, prevailed over Assassins 1 with a 21-4 score to strengthen their second place on the President's League log, behind the Ghost Squad. Titans 3, the Hit Squad, earned valuable points after Kings 2 forfeited their fixture, moving the team into third place.
The result means the President's League top three is currently made up entirely of Titans teams: Titans 4, Titans 2 and Titans 3.
The weekend marked Titans Pool Academy's second consecutive unbeaten weekend, with the academy crediting commitment, teamwork and preparation for its results.
In round 4 this coming weekend, Titans 2 will host Bandits 2, while Titans 4 travel to George to face Black Ballers. Titans 3 will travel to George to play Assassins Juniors.
