PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Sports boys and girls at Greenwood Bay College (GBC) have recently
excelled in their respective disciplines.
Chilli Donegan, a Grade 8 learner, reached the number one rank in the country for U14 weightlifting based on his performance at the SA Championship.
GBC's tennis players also recently did well in matches played against Oakhill School and York High School.
In the doubles GBC beat Oakhill 6-1, 7-0 and also won 4-3 and 6-1, as well as 5-2 and 6-1 in the singles (both girls and boys teams).
The total scores against York were 33-13 for the boys and 42-4 for the girls.
GBC's boys team was made up of Connor Hubert, Liam Painter, Michael Ash and Keaton Bass.
Their girls team was made up of Riley Slack, Gabi Roberts, Sasha Painter and Calista Slack.
GBC also thanked York High for hosting their tennis teams.
