The children enjoyed playing cricket despite the strong winds that were wreaking havoc on the rest of town and the district.

KNYSNA NEWS - More than 100 eager and enthusiastic young boys and girls from primary schools in and around Knysna were treated to a special day of mini-cricket last weekend.

Held at Loerie Park on Saturday 16 September, the Knysna KFC Mini Cricket Festival was held with great success, in spite of the strong winds that were wreaking havoc on the rest of town and the district.

Organisers also elicited the help of players from Knysna Cavaliers Cricket Club to lend a hand and share some of their expertise on the day.

Participation on the day was great for all to see.
