GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The defending Six Gun Grill SWD Premier League champions, Pacaltsdorp United, will be the favourites when they lock horns with Knysna Cavaliers in this coming Saturday's final at the Recreation Ground in Oudtshoorn.
Pacaltsdorp, who dominated the pool stages, emerged as the winner when the same two teams met in last season's final.
For Knysna Cavaliers, who won the title in 2021/22, it will be their third consecutive final.
Both teams will have strong squads from which they will select their final starting line-ups.

The Cavaliers, at Loerie Park, recorded a comprehensive eight-wicket victory over Union Stars I last Saturday, 23 March, thus advancing to the final. The visitors were dismissed for a modest 79 thanks the impressive bowling performances by Mesuli Vuba 3/24, Francois Bonthuys 2/9, Lutho Nqgongwa 2/13 and AB van der Walt 2/19).
Cavaliers surpassed the target - 80/2 - in the 12th over. Van der Walt top scored with 44*.
