GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - The South African Weather Service (Saws) has released its latest weather forecast for Tuesday, 25 February.
The weather service has issued warnings for severe thunderstorms in Limpopo, flooding in KwaZulu-Natal, damaging winds in the Western Cape and fire risks in multiple regions.
Here’s what you need to know.
Western Cape
Fine over the western parts, otherwise cloudy and warm to hot but cool along the south-west and south coast with light rain along the south coast.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly but strong
along the south-west coast.
Western half of the Eastern Cape
Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the north, otherwise cloudy and cool with scattered showers and rain, but widespread along the coast west of Cape St Francis.
The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly becoming moderate to fresh southerly late morning, but light north-easterly west of Cape St Francis in the evening.

Eastern half of the Eastern Cape
Fine in north at first where it will become partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, but widespread along the coast.
The wind along the coast will be light westerly north of Coffee Bay at first, otherwise moderate southerly.
