Weather forecast for Tuesday to Thursday this week

GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - In the latest weather forecast from the South African Weather Service there is a possibliity of thunderstorms over the interior.

In the forecast for today, Tuesday 21 January, it will be fine in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and hot to very hot, with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers in places over the central and eastern parts but widespread along the Wild coast.

Severe Thunderstorms are expected over the interior but damaging winds along the south coast of the Western Cape.

The following advisories were issued:

Extremely hot conditions are expected over the interior of Namakwa district, interior of the West Coast district today and tomorrow, including the Cape Winelands, Central and Little Karoo tomorrow.

Extremely uncomfortable conditions are expected over the interior of Namakwa district, interior of the West Coast district today and tomorrow, including the City of Cape Town, Cape Winelands, Central and Little Karoo tomorrow.

In the extended weather forecast for Wednesday and Thursday, 22 and 23 January: Partly cloudy and hot to very hot but extremely hot in the Northern Cape, with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers in places over the central and eastern parts of South Africa.
