KNYSNA NEWS - The Knysna Red Cross Society has provided school uniforms to 46 learners of Fraaisig Primary as part of its ongoing support for vulnerable children in the community.

Branch manager Amber Cole and her team recently visited the school to distribute the uniforms, including shoes, socks, shirts and trousers.

The donation aims to help learners attend school with greater dignity and confidence while easing some of the financial pressure on families.

Cole said supporting local schools and learners remained an important part of the Red Cross's community work. "We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn with dignity," she said. "The initiative forms part of the Knysna Red Cross Society's broader commitment to assisting vulnerable children and families in the local community."

The organisation also thanked everyone who contributed and made the donation possible.
