KNYSNA NEWS - On Sunday 19 November the popular television programme 50/50, on SABC 2, will be running a story on the Cape honeybees and the effect the June fires had on their population.
The programme starts at 19:00.
According to Hope for the Honeybees spokesperson Owen Williams, the programme will include scientific input as well as a brief insert on the removal of a colony near Sedgefield.
"The producer of the show is most excited as he loved doing the shoot. Filming was completed about three months ago, so the visuals of Knysna will be quite dramatic.
"I think it will be a good opportunity for locals to compare Knysna from then till now, especially after the effect the rain has had on the landscape," he said.
