PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Judging by the attendance at a recent meeting, it seems that Plettenberg Bay's history is a hot topic.
On Friday 19 August, about 150 residents and visitors flocked to a presentation about the history of one of the area's most iconic properties, Forest Hall, and surrounds.
The event was hosted by the Van Plettenberg Historical Society and led by local resident and amateur historian Murray Crawford.
Crawford shared his knowledge about not only the property, but also the surrounding areas including the Crags.
The talk and a tour of the property on the outskirts of Plettenberg Bay was followed by a spitbraai and tastings of locally produced wines, gin and craft beer.
