N2 Knysna Lagoon to be cleared at 13:00

The owner of the two tow trucks on the scene advised that the recovery process will more or less be completed at 13:00 this afternoon as the truck weighs about 25 ton.

KNYSNA NEWS AND VIDEOS - Following the truck that left the N2 (Knysna Lagoon) into the lagoon this morning, the owner of the two tow trucks on the scene advised that the recovery process may take up to 5 hours as the truck weighs about 25 ton. 

Meanwhile staff members of SANPark and SpillTech distributed absorbant fibre and booms in the water to remove the diesel spilage in the lagoon.

The traffic department will also stay on the scene to regulate the traffic.
