GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The SWD CODED Motorcycle Club is holding a food run on Youth Day, Wednesday 16 June, as part of efforts to collect donations for an upcoming outreach by the South African Water Warriors (SAWW) to the drought-stricken Wolwefontein and Kleinpoort farming communities in the Eastern Cape.
Everyone will meet up up at Pick n Pay George, in Knysna Road, at 10:00 and will depart on a 21km run through George to Green Leaf.

Lucky draw
The Water Warriors are also holding a lucky draw over the two coming weekends, Friday and Saturday 4 and 5 June, and Friday and Saturday 11 and 12 June, and are asking for the public's support.
Buy a ticket for R100 for the lucky draw in which a kudu leather handbag worth R2 300 can be won. It is sponsored by Der Lederhändler George.
Ticket sales will take place between 10:00 and 14:00 at Pick n Pay Knysna Road on the four days.
