KNYSNA NEWS - On Sunday 26 November local police opened an investigation following the retrieval of a man's body from a dam in the Khayalethu area, shortly after 16:00.
The discovery was made by municipal personnel who noticed the body floating in the water and alerted the police. In response, a team of police divers was dispatched to the scene to retrieve the body from the dam.
“Circumstances surrounding his death are being investigated. An autopsy to determine the cause of death will be conducted during the week,” says Southern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies.
The body of the deceased is yet to be identified. “The Investigation continues,” concluded Spies.
