KNYSNA NEWS - The Living Cornerstone recently hosted its fourth annual Women's Day Celebrations fundraising event at the Sedgefield Community Hall.
The guests were greeted outside the hall with a welcome drink before entering the venue, where an array of activities and celebrations were planned for the day.
Each guest received a unique 'goodie teacup' filled with premium products before entering the hall, while a second goodie bag awaited them at their seats.
All the guests had the opportunity to win a selection of premium lucky draw and raffle prizes, while sought-after items were also put up for auction.
Entertainment included song and dance performances, complemented by professional sound and lighting.
Guest speakers addressed the women under the theme 'Her Story, His Strength', encouraging them to celebrate their strength, grace and purpose every day, rather than only during Women's Month.
Diamonds and gold featured prominently throughout the event, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
The guests also made use of a specially designed photo booth to capture memories of the occasion.
Facility manager Marietjie Digue said the event provided an opportunity to reflect on the organisation's journey over the past year and thank those who had supported it.
"As we look back at a year of challenges and a lot of highlights, this was a perfect way to crown everyone who decided to walk the way with our organisation.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank every dedicated stakeholder, our committed staff, the sponsors and the ambassadors of the Living Cornerstone who made it possible to put together this event of a world-class standard and to portray excellence in every way," she said.
