PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Plett Animal Welfare Service (Paws) is looking forward to hosting its fifth Glorious Music Concert at Ouland Royale on Saturday 1 October.
Local audiences have come to expect an exceptional evening in this popular venue, transformed by candles and reflecting mirrors.
Says organiser Marsja Hall-Green, "The talented Trio de Musique from Cape Town can't wait to return to Plett to delight us with their repertoire of marvellous music".
Renowned flautist Thomas de Bruyn and his equally celebrated colleague, pianist Albert Combrinck, will be joined by a new trio member, Cheryl de Havilland.
All three are highly qualified professional musicians who perform as soloists and members of various orchestras and ensembles. In Plett they will perform a selection of works guaranteed to delight everyone – timeless classics, familiar melodies from stage and screen, some modern works and a bit of jazz thrown in.
After all, no Glorious Music Concert is complete without a Piazzola tango.
"We at Paws were delighted when Seeff in Plett agreed to sponsor the Trio de Musique's performance to raise funds for Paws. We are most grateful to them for making this important fundraiser possible and they are proud to be associated with this popular annual event, which will form part of the Plett Arts Festival," said Hall-Green.
As always, Glorious Music guests will enjoy ClemenGold Gin cocktails on arrival, as well as Zandvliet Wines.
Owner of Ouland Wilja Reitz has promised more of her delicious "filling finger food". You can contact Marsja Hall-Green on 073 645 9476 or marsjahg@netactive.co.za regarding bookings.
The concert takes place in a beautiful setting.
