KNYSNA NEWS - The Knysna Garden Club is hosting an annual fundraiser to assist the sterilisation programme at Kaws.
The fundraiser takes the form of a raffle and is now open to the public. Tickets of R10 each are available at George Rex Vet in George Rex Drive or at Liquor City on 23 Nelson Street (next to Midas).
Two separate draws will take place and three hampers will be given away – one on 24 December and another two draws on 31 December.
The three hampers are to the value of R500 and include bottles of wine, sweets and nuts.
"The sterilisation programme is an incredibly important service provided by Kaws. It assists in reducing the number of unwanted puppies that are born and eventually find themselves abused or abandoned," says the club'sCarol Snyman.
