PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Four people have been found guilty of a planned murder involving three life policies taken out on the life of Nomdundu Mafani of KwaNokhuthula.
Mafani was shot 15 times in a house in Cuba Street on 29 April 2022.
The payment for the ‘hit’ on Mafani was R40 000.
The high court sitting in Knysna found Mboneleli Msila, Mbulelo Jack, Monde Tshemese and Lungisile Lucas, all from KwaNokhutula, guilty on charges of conspiracy to commit murder, ruling that Mafani’s murder was planned.
Tshemese was also found guilty of the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Sentence will be passed on Wednesday 18 June, which had not yet taken place by the time of going to press.
