PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS & VIDEO - Deputy president David Mabuza is currently in Bitou handing over land to about a thousand residents of the small coastal hamlet of Covie.
This is part of government efforts to accelerate land reform.
The handover follows a restitution claim lodged in December 1996 by past and present members of the Covie community after they lost their rights when the land became part of the Tsitsikamma National Park.
