Update
KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna CBD and surrounds like Thesen Island have had no water since early this afternoon.
Despite repeated attempts to find out when it might come back, an indication of restored water at 20:00 had not materialised by 21:09.
Knysna municipality communications spokesman Christopher Bezuidenhout just responded at 21:14 saying: "The water has been fully restored in the CBD & other affected areas.
"Unfortunately the pressure will fill the pipelines in the lower lying areas before upper town.
"We thank residents for their patience."
