KNYSNA NEWS - Residents and businesses in the Knysna CBD and those on Thesen Island will have to be patient for a few more hours while a municipal technical team attends to a pipe breakage in upper Long Street.
According to the Knysna municipality the technical team is currently on site working to repair the pipe breakage.
The repair apparently necessitated the closing off of the reservoir, resulting in the interruption in water supply to the CBD and Thesen Island.
Municipal engineers expect water to be restored within the next 3 - 4 hours.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and thank affected residents and businesses for their patience and understanding,” a message on the municipality’s Facebook page said.
