GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The SWD Premier League competition is wide open after Pacaltsdorp United (114/6) broke Union Stars' (110 all out) undefeated record on Saturday 15 November.

They clocked a four-wicket victory in a match that was reduced to 34 overs per batting team after rain delayed the start of the match.

Sussex (235 all out) continued their upward curve with a comprehensive 167-run victory at the Bridgton Sport Grounds against Union Stars II (68 all out).

At Rooirivierrif in George, the Harlequins (110 all out) managed to defend a low total and won by 15 runs against George (95 all out).

The Knysna Cavaliers (90/1) kept their aspirations open for a place in the top three with a nine-wicket bonus point victory against New Dawn Park (89 all out) when they reached a modest target in the 12th over.
