GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The Van Plettenberg Historical Society is hosting a presentation on Thursday 12 July by Leigh M. Dunn on the topic, 'The Coloured folk of Plett, how they were moved from the CBD by the Group Areas Act No. 41 of 27 April 1950, and a few related anecdotes with specific reference to the original Harker and Dunn families of Plett and how they contributed to the development of our town".
The presentation starts at 17:30 for 18:00 and the entrance fee is R30. Everyone is welcome and no bookings are necessary.
