KNYSNA NEWS - Liquor Regulation is everyone’s business says the Western Cape Liquor Authority, also known as the WCLA.
It is the organisation that regulates the retail sale and micro manufacturing of liquor in the Western Cape. If you want to sell or micro manufacture liquor, you need a liquor licence in order to do so. The Western Cape Liquor Authority is the organisation you apply to for such a licence.
If you think someone is not adhering to the liquor laws, you can lodge a complaint with the WCLA. You can lodge a complaint about unlicensed liquor outlets in your community; outlets selling liquor to under age people; or outlets staying open later than its license allows.
Such activities can be reported by either contacting the WCLA on (021) 204 9805 OR email: liquor.enquiries@wcla.gov.za You can also visit our website: www.wcla.gov.za
Know your rights, and we encourage you to contact us if you need any further information regarding liquor regulation, says the WCLA.
