KNYSNA NEWS - The continuation of Knysna Municipality's Token Identifier (TID) rollover process is now underway in Ward 4.
Knysna Municipality previously indicated the necessity to upgrade prepaid electricity meters before the expiration of the existing software on 24 November 2024.
"The designated service provider has confirmed the implementation of the two-token system for the meter upgrade across greater Knysna," the municipality said in a statement.
"Our dedicated team is conducting visits to residents in Ward 4 to facilitate this crucial update. It is essential to note that once the update codes have been issued to a meter, the said meter will not accept any recharge tokens until the update codes have been successfully entered."
