KNYSNA NEWSFLASH - Knysna Post Office staff have joined the national strike and picketed outside their premises with placards that read all their grievances. Some of which include 12% salary increase, housing allowance, employment of permanent part-time employees and an increase of sick leave days.
The employees say this is phase one of the strike and that tomorrow they will be on a go-slow. On Thursday work will commence as per usual and they have an all day strike planned out for Friday, 6 July.
The three hour strike started at 12:00.
