KNYSNA NEWSFLASH - A local DJ and businessman DJ Busqo is set to host a Colour Splash during this year’s Knysna Oyster Festival featuring Oskido, a recording artist, DJ, record producer , co-founder of Kalawa Jazmee Records, a Kwaito pioneer and easily a legend in his own right.
DJ Busqo, real name Bulelani Memani is one of the three event managers to host events in the location during the esteemed festival after receiving funding
from the Knysna municipality’s economic development team.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, 30 June at Club Nitelife (Nellies) in Dam Se Bos.
Speaking to the Knysna Plett Herald the excited DJ explained why he chose to host a colour splash, he said “I did a little research about the colour splash festival and its origins and learnt that it comes from India and it’s a festival that chases away bad omens and for me it was fitting to have one after the Knysna Fires.”
