PLETTENBERG BAY NEWSFLASH - On Monday, 9 October 2017, minister of communications, Ayanda Dlodlo will visit Bitou municipality in Plettenberg Bay to help fire victims, but also engage with the youth.
Her visit is part of a government public participation programme.
The day will start with a handover of food and clothing vouchers to the value of R53 000 to 13 families who were victims of the fire.
The minister and representatives of the department of communication entities will visit Kwanokuthula community hall for an engagement with youth where she is expected, amongst other things, to share information on development and employment opportunities in the media and communication sector including ways to access them.
Dlodlo will handover food and clothing vouchers to 13 families at ZawaZawa Street, Kurland Township, Plettenberg Bay at 10:45.
Her opening address and engagement with the youth will take place at Kwanokuthula community hall at 11:20.
