PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Bitou Municipality's new director of finance and CFO is a "Mr Fixit". 

Felix Lötter, who pulled Bitou Municipality's financial affairs up by its bootstraps during his previous stint as chief financial officer (CFO) between 2012 and 2016, has again been appointed CFO of the municipality.

He was appointed during the council meeting on Monday 29 May, where the selection panel tabled a report from independent service provider Roy Steele that scored Lötter in the high 90s for his application. 

He has a track record of turning around the financial woes of municipalities such as Oudtshoorn, Cederberg, Bergrivier and Bitou.
