The purpose of the event was to make learners aware of different career choices, how to choose a career and how to prepare for their chosen careers by selecting the right subjects in high school.
The learners participated in a friendly competition to represent the careers they envisage for themselves by dressing up.
The learners who represented their careers choices best received rewards.
They were Asive Dyantyi, Siyambonga Nkunzi, Lelethu Budaza, Chuma Ralushe, Inganathi Yako and Someleze Mncono.

Thembelitsha Primary School teacher Thembeka Mhlekwa (standing, far right) welcomed guests at the school's recent career day.
