KNYSNA NEWS - Members of the Knysna Marathon Club (KMC) recently took part in two major events, the Two Oceans marathons and the KKI Volstruiswedloop, and brought home quite a few medals.
Two Oceans marathons
Over 50 KMC members entered the Two Oceans marathon that took place on Saturday 31 March in Cape Town.
According to club spokesperson Lehanie Scholtz, the weather was good and KMC had great results. "One of our members, Abraham Coetzee, did his 20th ultra-marathon and obtained his double blue status, while Sidney Roos did his 10th half marathon and got his permanent blue number," she said.

A few members took part at the KKI Volstruiswedloop in Oudtshoorn on Saturday 7 April, in both the 10km and 21.1km races.
