PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Robbie Leggat, a renowned bronze sculptor, received members of the Knysna Arts Society at his foundry near Plettenberg Bay on 1 December.
The event saw the artist walking his guests through an intricate and powerful display of his medium, which is a five-step process that starts with wax and ends with bronze.
For the visitors the pouring experience was a highlight, with Robbie skilfully manoeuvring the crucible to pour the golden liquid into the ceramic moulds. This was the last of the society's art visits for 2023.
