KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Municipality will today see its council seats filled again, two weeks after the 2021 local government elections.
The inaugural meeting of the new council will see the appointment of the town's new mayor, deputy mayor, speaker and whip of the council.
Voting will be done via a secret ballot.
Voting will also be conducted to determine the council's representatives for the Garden Route District Municipality, which will be overseen by the Independent Electoral Commission.
The council meeting follows a special parade by the Knysna Fire & Rescue Department this morning.
