KNYSNA NEWS - The Knysna Arts Society (Kas) and Revive Knysna are collectively issuing a call to all local businesses to give their storefronts a splash of colour and light this festive season.
The campaign, which is being championed by the two organisations under the #KnysnaLights hashtag, was put together with the aim of shining a little light on Knysna for the 2021 festive season.
"Help us light up Knysna's nights this December by decorating the trees in front of your business premises with strings of solar-powered, warm white, fairy lights," the announcement on the Kas Facebook page read.
"This one small act by each local business will add some sparkle to our streets, some twinkle to our town and give us all one more reason to love Knysna."
The initiative, while focusing on the aspect of lighting up the town, doubles as a call to all residents to support local, independent retailers with their purchases this festive season.
Visit Knysna's light display is a shining example for other businesses around town.
More at the Gallery has also joined the initiative in its early stages.
