KNYSNA NEWS - Athletes and sports stars from Knysna Primary School (KPS) were rewarded for their sport achievements last week.
From time to time KPS holds special ceremonies where all the learners who have obtained Eden colours in their sport discipline are handed special commemorative caps.
The latest group of 20 learners received their caps on Monday 25 April.
- Athletics was the sport with the most recipients: Karli van Wyk, Lixa Sithonga, Lamar Abdulkadir, Ethan Strydom, Requilme Juicy and Mia Kovacs. Four learners were capped for tennis: Cruz Newton, Ava Muller, Emma-Lee Lombard and Helena Neethling.
- Cycling also boasted four recipients: RJ van Lill, Alani Ferreira, Tiaan Ferreira and Jandré van Lill; as did biathlon: Ruan Share, Dewald van der Westhuizen, Leah Hopper and Aran Hopper.
- Swimming had two recipients: Izi van der Wath and Emma Swart.
