And sure enough, her dream came true and she is now the proud owner of a Datsun Go, thanks to King Pie.
"I'm super excited! This is my first ever car!" she exclaimed.
The King Pie Win a Car Competition closes on 31 October and there are still at least 10 cars to be won.
Cunningham was handed over her car during a ceremony outside King Pie in Woodmill Lane, Knysna on Friday 12 October.
She says that ever since she saw the George winner, she knew she had a chance.
"I entered every day, morning, afternoon and early evening. It paid off big time," she said. To enter, all you need to do is spend more than R25 at any King Pie, and follow the instructions on the till slip with your cellphone. It's quick, easy, and you could be the next winner!
"The competition coincides with our 25th anniversary and we are excited about showing our appreciation to the community for supporting us for so long. This is our way of giving back," said King Pie area manager Anton Strooberg.
