Dear Sir, It puzzles me that Knysna, The Beautiful Town, turns a blind eye to the growing informal settlement at the entrance to the Knysna Waterfront and Thesen Island.
The unfortunate location of a rubbish dump In the heart of the town is one thing, the informal settlement begs questions of hygiene and sanitation.
Surely the authorities could provide alternative shelter for these citizens?
