Women's football club promoted to second tier
Local women's football club Southern Stars has earned promotion to the second tier of women's football in South Africa, qualifying for one of two promotion spots in the Safa Western Cape Sasol Women's League. They have previously spent two seasons in the Sasol League before selling their status.
