Tydens die afgelope naweek se Oostelike Provinsie Interprovinsiale Byeenkoms te Port Elizabeth het die Eden-tweekampspan die distrik se naam hoog gehou en met nie minder as agt medaljes teruggekeer huistoe. Op Saterdag 20 Oktober, in heerlike weersomstandighede, is die hardloopkomponent van die byeenkoms op die Westbourne Oval afgehandel, terwyl die swemkomponent in die puik Newton Park-swembad gehou is.
