Knysna
The Knysna municipality’s youth desk in collaboration with their youth council organised the biggest youth event in Knysna to date, commemorating the revolutionary youth behind the Soweto Uprising. The celebrations were held at Loerie Park on Saturday 16 June, being national Youth Day. Kicking things off was new mayor Mark Willemse who challenged Knysna's youth to learn from their peers of decades ago.
