KNYSNA NEWS - This week, the art gallery and showroom scene in Knysna will be welcoming its newest member - The Showroom - when it opens with a pop-up exhibition on Friday 25 February.
The exhibition, titled Out of the Box, will be held in The Showroom's pop-up space, The Doos Gallery, and will be headed up by Nicki Friedlein & Brett Baker whose work will be showcased during the exhibition along with 12 other artists.
All of the artists are based in the Garden Route, and the line-up includes the likes of Guy Thesen, Madelein Marincowitz, Ingrid Coerlin, Marie Kearney, Daya Heller, Daniel Ferreira, James Stead, and more.
The Showroom is an ex-car showroom converted into an art studio, event space, carpentry workshop and a home to Friedlein and Baker. Out of the Box will be on show at The Doos Gallery and The Showroom between 15:00 and 17:00 this Friday.
Members of the public are invited to stop by to take in and enjoy the brilliant small works that will be on show in this brand-new space on the Knysna arts scene.
Bargain wine and retro snacks will be served to visitors.
