KNYSNA NEWS - Local musician and premier harmonica player and singer Gordi Brown is returning to the stage at the Belvidere Manor Hotel in two weeks with his show, Blowin' the Blues.
Brown will be delivering the blues in the tradition of the Chicago masters, adding West Coast swing and classic jazz to the mix.
"For me, the blues has to be deep, emotional, convincing and from the heart," he says. "As far as the jazz-oriented tunes go, they must swing and be very bluesy."
Brown has performed to much acclaim in the United Kingdom, France and the USA (other than SA of course). His shows are always a sell-out, so be sure to book your seats early to avoid missing out.
Gordi Brown and his BigTime Harmonica will perform at the Belvidere Manor Hotel between 19:00 and 20:15 on 1 November. Tickets are available from The Hearing & Health Centre, and for more information you can phone 044 382 1168.
All proceeds from the show will go towards supporting the Heal Equip Restore Optimise Strengths (Hero) organisation.
