KNYSNA NEWS - This weekend presents residents and local jazz lovers with the perfect chance to "get jazzy" again, as The Collectiv will be on show at Blend Country Restaurant.
The Collectiv is a versatile combination of five local artists – Gavyn Stevens (drummer), Frank Cuddumbey (keyboard), Marlene Boyce (vocals), Basi Burger (guitar) and Jan Hough (bass).
They entertain crowds and play songs from the classic American Songbook as well as various jazz and Latin favourites.
Having been on the professional music scene for 35 years, they've participated in various TV and radio programmes and have collaborated with well-known artists and bands such as Gerry Bosman, Mango Groove and Nico Carstens.
Their performances are guaranteed to be foot-tapping, happy affairs filled with fond musical memories.
They will be taking to the stage at Blend Country Restaurant on Saturday 6 May at 16:00. You can either purchase tickets online or at Blend itself.
