KNYSNA NEWS - Local rising dance star Jordin Thompson (9) has made her hometown proud with a stellar performance at the recent Move! National Dance Competition held in Sea Point, Cape Town.
Representing the Art In Motion Dance Academy, Jordin competed in the qualifying rounds where she displayed skill, energy and emotion across multiple styles and danced her way to silver status in four categories.

- Jazz Solo - first place (79.27%)
- Lyrical Solo - second place (81.10%)
- Contemporary Solo - first place (84.33%)
- Acro Solo - second place (84.33%)
Her performances not only won over the judges but also earned her a spot in the national finals, which took place on Friday and Saturday, 3 and 4 October.
Competing against some of the best young dancers in the country, Jordin continued to impress, securing a third place in Jazz Solo.
