GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The first leg of the Trans Agulhas, the "World's Toughest Inflatable Boat Challenge", takes place every year on 28 December from Plettenberg Bay to Mossel Bay.
It is a fast-paced, action-packed water sports event with more than 30 inflatable boats battling it out in the waves.
On 29 December participants will race to Stilbaai and from there to Struisbaai before ending in Gordon's Bay on 31 December.
