KNYSNA NEWS - A group of young dancers from White Location, Dinangwe and Corcordia, Knysna, and their surrounds, are a step away from competing in the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, the US.
The dancers, mainly schoolchildren from those areas, are members of the Dream Chasers 6570 dance group, run by Bongeka Sinyekemba (34), of Dinangwe, and Sonwabise Mbalo (22), of Concordia.
They both train the dancers, whose performances comprise a fusion of hip hip and ethnic dance, with Mbalo joining them on the floor on occasions and together with Sinyekemba also acting as choreographers for the group.
