KNYSNA NEWS - The Jaguars Men Netball Team celebrated an outstanding 2024 season with their annual prize giving ceremony held on Saturday, December 28th, at Emmanuel Ministries. This event served as a platform to honour the outstanding achievements and dedication of players across various categories.
Award Categories and Winners
The evening’s awards were spread across several major categories: the Knysna Oyster Festival, the Woza Woza League, and the Eden League. In addition to these, there were special accolades recognising individual achievements in key areas such as defense, shooting, midcourt play and versatility.
Knysna Oyster Festival
The Knysna Oyster Festival, a highlight of the team’s competitive year, saw a number of players receiving certificates, medals and trophies for their impressive performances.
Among the various accolades, the following players stood out:
Best Defender: Lorenzo Windvogel
Best Shooter: Henno Beukus
Best Midcourt Player: Gaylon Williams
Woza Woza League
The Woza Woza League, another key event for the Jaguars, also featured exceptional performances. The following players were recognized for their participation and contributions.

Best Defender: Raymondo Titus
Eden League
The Eden League, which saw some of the most intense competition of the year, recognised Henno Beukus, Larry Ackerman, Carlyne Hendricks, Christian Pyl, Andy Johnson, Raymondo Titus, Kealon Williams, Bradley Le Bron, Jonathan Booysen, Fanus Leo and Gaylon Williams for their skill and commitment.

Lynn Kayster, in particular, was recognised for her outstanding leadership and guidance, which were instrumental in the team’s growth throughout the season.
